Innovonics commenced operations in 1984 and initially offered contract engineering services. The development of proprietary products commenced in the early 1990’s and the Company has grown profitably since that time.

Innovonics listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 6 December 2000 and subsequently experienced a period of rapid expansion.

The Directors have consistently reinvested profits into research and development to commercialize a wide range of products.

Dec 2007 Faiveley Transport Group acquires the rail assets of Integrian Pty Ltd. from KordaMentha administrators.
Dec 2005 Integrian Inc. acquired Innovonics Limited
May 2003 Innovonics acquires CCTV Transit Solutions Company, Pacific Communications Europe, to improve market share and strengthen product portfolio.
Jan 2003 Awarded various train event recorder projects in excess of $1m
Dec 2002 Awarded Stage 2 of NSW State Rail's 4GT train project
Feb. 2001 Awarded contract to design, build and supply EDI Rail with communications and surveillance equipment sets for NSW State Rail's 4GT train fleet.
Dec. 2000 Listed on the Australian Stock Exchange
Oct. 2000 Released the new Train Data Systems Products developed by the Company at the UITP Asia/Pacific Mobility and City Transport Exhibition, Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Center.
Sept. 2000 Commissioning of POTS.
July 2000 Awarded contract for supply of an integrated on-train data system incorporating passenger information system, security camera system and networked wireless administration and diagnostics. Contract value $8.3 million.
May 2000 Awarded contract to supply and install train electronics modules for Alstom Melbourne Transport Limited.
April 1999 Awarded contract to install networked train data and client server fleet management software system, called Position Of Trains System (“POTS”) for Bayside Trains. Contract value $4.2 million.
1999 Awarded contract to supply vehicle data systems flat panel controllers for use in Brambles armoured cash delivery vans.
1998 Awarded service contract to maintain specified electrical components for Hillside Trains (now Connex Trains).
Oct. 1998 Innovonics FleetView software developed to first demonstrations.
Aug. 1998 Release of data acquisition, analysis and reporting software for Innovonics data recorder products.
1997  Development of flat panel drivers’ display screen and train data system. Incorporated into PTC Comeng train upgrade.
1997  Awarded contract to upgrade 20 Comeng Train motor carriages with computerized traction control electronics, data acquisition and remote networked diagnostics by the PTC as a technology trial. Contract value $3.4 million.
Dec. 1994 First Public Transport contract with the Victorian Public Transport Corporation (“PTC”)
Oct. 1994 Attended first trade exhibition, demonstrating the MD4 data recorder and innovative controller capabilities.
1991 Commitment to an in house research and development program, resulting in the release of the Company’s first MD4 data recorder product.
1984 -1990 Supply of consulting and design services to a range of Australian companies. These contracts included the design of products, machines and process improvements.
